Immigrant Resources

In February 2025, Local 443 passed a Migrant Sanctuary Union Resolution creating our Migrant Solidarity Subcommittee. This subcommittee is responsible for advocating for immigrants and immigrants’ rights within our union, through work including hosting Know Your Rights and Rapid Response trainings, sharing resources with union members, and creating partnerships with immigrant rights groups. The Migrant Solidarity Subcommittee meets every second Thursday of the month at 6pm over Zoom. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.

Below are resources for immigrant members and their families.

DID YOU KNOW? WFSE’s 2025-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreements prohibit discrimination based on race, national origin, and citizenship/immigration status and allow for sick leave to be used for immigration appointments for members and their families.
